Might as well build it once rather than twice. Talk to the locals. They are pretty willing to talk over here. I know Lemke Bros Machine and (drawing blank...they used to pull Tool Time and Diehard Deere) will build you a tractor. Only problem is they are Deere specialists. Jay Smithback in Utica, WI also knows quite a bit about anything that can pull.
BTW, if you are building a pro farm you darn well better get it right! One that has a chance of winning the class is worth more than my house! I would look into running something like Badger State 466/640 hot farm before I went straight into pros.
