I did an out of frame rebuild on the engine because the oil plug fell out and spun two rods. I reused the pistons and liners because it had a 100 hours on a reman long block. The problem is after it warms up it develops a knock between 800 and 1400 rpms. It sounds like it is coming from the front cylinders. I pulled the pan back down and rechecked the clearances and they all were fine. I could not fell any play in the rod bushing either. The oil pressure stays steady at around 50 psi. Any suggestion what it could be?
