You should be able to use the hydraulic pump but you'll also need the timing gears (I'm not sure if the ones from the 350 will work or not) because the load from the live hyd pump will take out the stock timing gears fairly quickly. As to the brakes I don't know if you'd be gaining anything by swapping to the discs as they seem to be fairly maintenance intensive. Someone who knows more will be able to give you a better idea.
