You won't find a more user-friendly, easy-to-maintain, harder working tractor for the money than a good Farmall H. As Red indicates, steering the H isn't much fun if you have a loader full of something on the front. We ran a loader on an H when I was a kid, and it's amazing what they will lift. A narrow front tractor is okay with a loader if you're on reasonably level ground and use some sense! If you're into moving heavy stuff with a loader on an H, you may want to consider using 6.00x16 tires on the front. Power steering can be added, but likely isn't worth the hassle. 3pt hitches are available, but a little pricey. If you decide to add a 3pt, try to get one that lets you keep the original drawbar. Mine doesn't, and I miss it.
