The frame has been stretched, and an old flathead ford V8 has been crossbred into it. The best thing about this unit is the steel dual wheels! I do not deny that it would be a cool old rig after it has been worked on and got it to going! Definitely someone had put some thought into it to get it this far, just wonder if it was ever a working tractor or if it was just a project that was stopped in mid-work and was never finished? I tend to think that if it did run it may have been scarey with those steel wheels. If they hung solid in a field, the front end may sure enough come off the ground! I have seen numerous F series tractors with chevy 6 cylinders in them. So someone had this old V8 so it got put in instead of a 6 cylinder. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
