Nice piece, I seen one at an auction a few years (2007) back , it sold for $50 as I recall. That one was painted green as if it was sold through JD dealers. I don't recall it having the bracket on the bottom as in your picture.
Perhaps they were sold by various tractor dealers and painted in company colors...?
