My dad bought a new one just like it. First time he put it on a PTO the chains broke and it spun around. He took it off, mounted it on a sawhorse, put a home made wooden pulley on it and ran it with anything that had a drive pulley. When we got electricity he put a small electric motor on it. It was slow but much better than a hand pump. It was still being used after my dad died when I was "invited" to leave the farm many years ago.
