Forget it. As already pointed out, the reverse rotation won't matter to to the crank running the cutter bar. But everything else will be wrong. All frame dimensions will be too small. The A PTO only runs 1/3 the speed of the Cub. So even if you got the pulley installed on the PTO (which has a different shaft configuration), the mower would run way too slow. Because of the reverse rotation, several parts will be constantly trying to unscrew themselves. Then you would need to rig up some kind of lift mechanism as the Cub mower is designed to work with the Cub hydraulic system.
