I found a starting tank for my regular, but it has a bit of rot at the bottom of the tank. I didn't receive it yet, so I am not positive on how bad the rot is. I got it for a good price, so I was happy to take the chance.
Anyway, I have heard that some guys have replaced the tube part. I am not planning on using the tank for fuel, just mounting it for display purposes. If I can patch up the pin holes that are on this one, no need to replace the tube. If the current tube is really bad, then of course, I will solder a new one in.
Anyone have any info or leads where I can get the right size tube to replace mine if I need to go that route?
