The insulator broke off (It happens from thermal shock, or just built in stress) then the piece got crushed by the piston. Possibly dent the piston and or crumblings got under the valve face and caused it to be a little leaky, I would put about a tablespoon 3 CC of ATF in each cylinder then let it rest for 3 days. I would then start it and use it like it was needed on the farm. Checking again in two weeks. A cylinder leakdown test is also a fine analysis tool. Not hard to do, and cheap. Jim
