I posted last week about a 684 with power steering and t/a issues. Yesterday we hooked it up to a brush hog and it ran it for about 10 feet, then the pto started to slip and 10 minutes later the 3 point wouldn't lift the brush hog anymore.
So now with all the issues, I'm pretty sure the hydraulic system is junk. With only 2400 hours, would it be the pump or could this just be the pressure relief valve?
I've also read that the gear on the pump can and does fail? Should we just plan on replacing the pump or is there a cheaper fix to try first?
