Take the line loose at the carb.turn it over a few times to make sure youre getting gas there. If so you have a stuck float. you can test that by taking your mouth and blowing into the inlet.(It aint easy i know but itll tell you if the float is open or closed)If not take the line loose at the pump and see if the gas is there,if so possible stopped up line, but thats new right?Tehn hook it all up right.Loosen the cap on top of the pump on the pump side and crank it over a few times to make sure theres gas coming out. Then redetach the line at the carb and try again. If no gas,you have a possible problem with the pump.Of course do the obvious thing like check for good flow and no blockages. Also how much new line is from the pump to the carb.Too much and it might not pump it up there.I have a strong feeling that the float is stuck.Good luck and BTW,was your hands up in soap and baking soda. When the wife sees me working on a gas line she gets it out before I get in then house.Kills the smell real good!
