The 55 Baler could be ordered with a GE farm duty E;ectrall motor, PTO drive, or a U-series industrial engine. There was an Electrall baler at the RPRU this past summer. Probably the only one in existence.
The sidemount Electrall system was another form of independent PTO. It was a goofy idea when the tractors already had IPTO. Would have made a little more sense on earlier tractors. In fact, an experimental 10-20 was built with an AC genny running off the front of the engine. Both systems were not accepted by the marketplace.
