Hey Frog! I've asked the same question. I just acquired a '58 Cub with the FH and wanted to do the same. I can't bring myself to remove the FH and substitute a 3-pt conversion. In the meantime I bought a 1-pt flail at Wengers so I can mow. I've looked closely at the FH assemble and also the 3-pt conversions. I'm SURE a modification could be made. I have a 1-pt cultivator from which I plan to "borrow" the bolt-on FH pin and then design and fabricate a FH/3-pt receiver. I don't know when, but I will certainly try. The FH seems to have the hard part (mounting to the reactor and providing adequate lift) already conquered.
