Had a little discussion with a 560 puller concerning rules for a local pull's farm stock class pull. Rules stipulate tractors must have tires tha same size as they came new equipped with...with the option of having one size larger rear tires than largest option. The 560 had 4.00-15 tires mounted on disk wheels on it and it's owner though they were "legal" because some 560's fitted out to have cotton pickers mounted on them had this size front tire. Well, this didn't seem possible to me...small tires and wheels to carry additional weight, Nahh, doubt it!!.....and it just happens to give the tractor an advantage by lowering the front end quite a bit. It's pretty common for various puller class tractors to use small wheels and tires on the front, but farm stock rules of this particular pulling group...specify tractors with field use operational equipment. What's the answer?
