Looks like you have already got a couple of postings on the fuel tank capacity. Now, on to how you should take care of "flushing" the tank. I recomend highly to send it out for an acid dip or "bath" and have the inside professionally coated. While there see if the outside can be powder coated to fill in the pits and ready to paint!
