I just received a new old stock set of Lambert brakes for a H from Weber's Tractor Works (aka Justin). They were still in the original wooden shipping crate. The linings are riveted on the splined rotor. The linings look similar to an antique Harley Davidson clutch lining. I have two suggestions. (1) Investigate the possibility of having someone who restores H-D's reline your Lamberts. (2) Go to www.hemmings.com and look through their services offered section. I am sure you will find several people or businesses that can help you out. I wanted the early disc brakes because they are unusual. They will go on my '40 H that is equipped with many IH and aftermarket accessories. If I had a M, I would be interested in your brakes. Perhaps one of the members of this forum will make you an offer. There isn't much that distinguishes one M from another. I think that you should fix and keep your brakes. E-mail me if you have any questions.
