I don't have any knowledge about an International 500 skidder, but since no one else answered, I'll toss in my 2 cents. First, most any type of parts tractor from a Cub to a 1086 will certainly be worth $500. If it runs, the value would be close to $1000 if not higher. Second, if it runs well, all the better...I have spent nearly that on tractors that need work, but are basically sound. The hydraulics would almost certainly be able to be rebuilt for somewhere between $125-$350 depending on how much work you do. I would continue to research...maybe someone knows specifics about such an animal. Also, I am a proponent of always checking the compression on any tractor you buy. Check out the rest of the tractor to make sure it is complete...I have found out that some relatively innocent looking parts can be a bit spendy...Good Luck Regards...BB
