I think both of these F series conversions are desirable. It doesn't matter to me if they were OEM or shop engineered. These two units are examples of equipment made to preform a task needed before the equipment was mass produced to do so.
I agree, clean them up and make them functional. Deep cleaning and paint optional. Every show has trailer queens. But no show has tractors like this. Show paint or not, I'd take pictures of these two tractors in operable condition.
