For some reason, even though I'm pretty good with a computer, I still can't figure out how to load a GD picture into a post. I gave up, and posted them in the community section under 560 timing. Anyhow, here's the links to the 2 pics. Cylinder #1 should be at 2 degrees on the A side of TC (or DC), or the R side (couldn't remember what it was marked, and couldn't make it out in the pic)? I assume the A is for advance, and the R is for retard?
Is there an easy way to hand crank the engine to 2 degrees? It's a real pain w/o a helper.
Basically though, once that finger is aligned with the 2 degree mark, all I need to do is align the distributor so that the rotor is sitting underneath the #1 wire?
