Unless somebody has modified the oil pans on the final drives, there is no drain. Remove the pan, then clean your floor. Refill with 90W gear lube to the level of the fill plug, which is in the final drive housing about an inch above the pan gasket surface. There is no connection at all between the trans and final drive.
