One more thing you might keep in mind while trouble shooting is the small return line to the fuel tank from the inj pump. There is a ball check where this line enters the tank. The ball can stick and it won't run. Some people just remove the ball. If your changing a pump for the first time... you want to have a manual. A rebuild or exchange can cost $600-$700+. Without experience or a manual you can mess up your new pump.
