The screen in the reservoir under the seat should have removed all particles big enough to lock a pump. However they can collapse and get ripped. If a chunk of rubber hose or other foreign material got into the intale side, there is a strong chance that the locked pump stripped the gears the others are discussing. Replace all fluid, remove the top of the res under the seat (sorry it is tough to do) and clean out the sludge and trash. Inspect all hoses for internal damage. Rinse the system with clean fluid. Remove the old pump and disassemble to see if it was jambed by something. Then go from there. Jim
