I'm of the same thoughts as Gordo other than the warm, summer day. You can work on your tractor any time of year. :lol: The book says to adjust them to .017 with engine at operating temp. That is a little difficult to do so I generally set them at .016 cold. The old Cases were notorious for bending rods in the field. My neighbor is a Case man and he said they would pull them in the field and straighten them on the drawbar. If Zach has a set I would certainly put them in.
