Well, alot of good statements have been made. Auction is one of the better ways to get your best price. If you are selling it outright, and have the price too high, people won't "bite". If you start it too low, you might lose out on a fair (to both parties) price.
If I were in your shoes, I would put it on eBay or similar. Get's you wide visibility, the fee's are a tad steep, but not outrageous, and people who really want it, and have the ability to pay for it, will bid.
Get as much info as you can on the over all condition, take some good pictures, and list it on eBay.
