I still can't believe the Electrall only pushes 10KW. It looks like you should be able to power a small subdivision with those things. That's why I was asking if they could be rewound, but it sounds like a case of, "if it ain't broke...".
Good luck on securing a 55 baler. This neighborhood ran out of 45, 50 & 55-T & -W's a long time ago. My Grandpa had a 45 that he used with his H, but it's long gone too. I might get one if the price is right & it still has a lot of paint. Not planning on using it, though. Those balers are over-glorified hay manglers. The knotters were there for decoration.
If you can't get a baler, IH had a Electrall motor on a 64 or 76 pull-type combine, too. Maybe it was a 62.
