I'm a big fan of the original "lived in" look on these old tractors.
I appreciate the flawless museum quality restorations as much as anybody, but I really do prefer the ones that look like they're still working hard and running strong from day one.
Rubbing compound/wax is a great alternative to new paint. Get it clean and shiny and keep it original at the same time.
