Gene, you are right about the sleeves, actually the whole engine was in great shape. To bad they let water get down the stack and damage it. Did not appear to have been a part before.
The tractor also had the exhaust lift system but was not complete enough to install. All I really have that may be good is the valve and control linkage.
DCjr, I bought reprint books from Binder Books but are probably what you have. I find the parts book to be very helpful with the great illustrations that IH provided in the parts books. Service books were somewhat vague back then.
