Just got done with the overhaul on my 706 with the 282d.I put my timing light on and checked rpms at high idle,their over 2300 and i remember reading somewhere that they raised the rpms on the 282 in the 706 to get a little more hp.If this is correct what would the rated rpms be for the 282 2500?thanks steve.
