I just rebuilt my high/low transmission adapter on an MD. The problem is that it was made by an aftermarket company and parts are very hard to find. I ended up going to a bearing company and matching the bearings as my main pilot bearing was bad. I never thought of the problem with the hydraulic pump speed. That must be the reason the guy who owned the MD before me had another aftermarket modification that allowed you to uncouple the hydraulic pump with the pull of a lever. Roger
