Rob, Years ago we used the belt pulley to run a Papec insulage chopper/blower for filing silos. The belt is either run straight or with a twist in it depending upon which way you want your saw blade to turn. As far as tensioning goes, as long as the belt doesn't slip you should be okay. Alignment is fairly simple if your running a saw that's mounted on the tractor. If it's a separate unit you'll have to adjust the position of the tractor to ensure the belt runs true to both pulleys. Please remember that a saw is an extremely dangerous implement. Use extreme caution while doing anything around it! We want you back on here talking about your experience(s)//FB
