Common complaint on older tractors leaking canister at top or boottom, bottom just needs new square seal o-ring, top is a little more complicated, remember how many times we all have a leak and give it just a little more, well our little more will bend the can down where it mates with the bolt, the brass ring/washer must have a flat area to seal against on both the can & the bolt surface.
