Does his block have a void half round place behind the filter where the block bolts to the bell housing. That void is where the starter bolted to on the power plant engines called U-2 by IH Ihave three of those engines one came in an A the other is in a Fork truck built by a place in Minn. The other engine came off a 55W baler in Colo. All three have the plate for the hy pump and the dipstick and place for the starter and oil guage moved as other post says. Do you need any more info on the engine.
