There are simple tests to attempt. If the right hand actuator was put on the left side, or the correct one was put on upside dowm, it will not work. If the bands are longer (center of rod hole to center of rod hole when compared to the old ones it will not (probably) work. The spring links would need to be lengthened from a worn band, so something is wrong in the assembly or length of band. The screw on the bottom holds up the band to prevent it from draging when the brake is off. Screw it in till it has contact, and loosen one half turn (experience). Jim
