In addition to the little oil filler hole, there should be a grease fitting right over that bearing, right on top of the steering box.
The grease should be thick enough to stay in place on the bearing. (this is on the early model super A, so not sure if things changed over time to the 100).
Either way - the kit I got had a sealed bearing, so it's really a moot point. Perhaps that's why they chose a sealed bearing for the kit.
And I'm referring to the ball bearing at the top of the sector gear shaft - assuming that's the one you mean. The top bronze bushing on the steering shaft may be a different story. But I believe that should be in contact with gear oil if you fill the steering box.
