Lead and octane are two different things for two different issues anyway.
Even if you dumped real tetraethyl lead into 87 octane fuel, it would not make it okay for the post-1958 high-compression engines. Lead does not raise the octane rating.
Not all IH tractors post-1958 have high-compression engines. The 140 is a good example of this. It's a 130 with a different hood. A 130 is really just a 100 with a paint job, and a 100 is just a Super A-1 with a different hood. The Super A-1 is just a Super A with bored-out cylinders, water pump and a taller radiator. Need I go on?
