Fast Hitch is the hitch IH came up with in the early '50s and first used on the Super C. The idea was the implement had 2 "prongs" that the tractor could just be backed into with blocks that dropped into place to lock on the implement. In theory, you didn't have to get off and on the tractor to switch implements. A year or two later, it was enlarged and addapted to the larger 300 and 400 series. If you plan to use 3 point implements with a Fast-Hitch, you will need either the IH produced F-H to 3 point kit, or some form of adaptors. Quick hitch, is kind of a generic term tha some use for the Fast Hitch and some use for the 3 point system where instead of the "balls" on the ends of the arms, there are hooks so you can just back the hooks under the 3 point implement pins and pick it up.
My dad bought a new '54 Super C with F-H when I was a freshman in HS and the "back in and go" thing worked good for the heavier implements like the plow and disk, but lighter ones you usually had to get off and jockey them around a little.
If you are planning to buy a 350 or any tractor with Fast Hitch, you might want to check out the availability of F-H implements before you buy, otherwise you will no doubt need one of the adaptor types. I have an IH 240U with the factory 3 point kit on it.
