Thanks Corky. I'm not sure but you're probably right about Miller from Ohio. I only know that's the state where the rim was coming from if I ordered one. I can't patch it because of the rotting area around the valve stem. The bad area is about a foot in length and it's on either side of the valve stem hole and including the valve stem area. (At least that's what the tire man told me) As far as the $360 for the pair of tires...I went to a "factory" type tire dealer, a big one in our state and they are around $40 cheaper than our local co-ops and others. I go where I can save money!! Now for another rim...what do you or anyone else think about going used? I figure I'd end up paying 1/2 again as much for a used rim as new, maybe it's just as well to go new. No? Thanks again everyone.
