They were officially only made for one year, 1976. There are some late-late 1975 black stripes out there, though.
The black stripe 66 series incorporated several internal and external changes/improvements that were designed for the upcoming 86 series.
Engine HP was boosted modestly, IIRC.
Hydraulics were improved, IIRC.
Externally, the 3pt lift links are different on the black stripes, a square "turnbuckle" design, and I believe the drawbar was changed to a heavier 1-piece design...
All the "white stripe" 1066's I've ever seen have the 2-piece drawbar and "round" 3pt lift links with adjusting cranks on top like the 56 series.
