I agree. Amps is the "push". We use dual 12 volt batteries on snow plow setups, usually a pair of 900+ amp batteries for approximately 1800 to 2000 total amps. A single 650 amp, 12 volt battery will start the truck fine, but add snow plows, salt spreaders, lights, etc. and the 650 falls far short of doing the job. Both battery setups will measure only 12 volts on the volt meter, while the dual setup is almost 3 times the amps.
