The pump next to the dist is the hydraulic pump, but the cap just in front of it is where you add oil to the engine. Add hydraulic fluid to the reservoir, which is under the seat. There is a plug on top of the reservoir near the front. The plug should have a dipstick on it. Add Hy-tran available at your Case/IH dealer.
