Both caseih and Oreillys (wix brand) has the high capacity filter. It is about an inch thicker. There was a guy around here who may have a listing on ebay who sells an extension to add to your cover plate to give room for the thicker filter. Around 40-50 bux as I recall. I'm not sure that it is an absolute that you need the thicker filter but it can't hurt. I believe I have the 17 gpm pump with the regular filter but I don't know without pulling it apart to look.
