that's for sure... it was about all i could do to get it back on!
at one point when the gr5 bolt started to deform, and I still had a half inch to go I got kinda worried.. :) pulley was cooling down.. I grabbed that last gr8 inthe bin and that round flat I have used to take other pullies down, thru some machine bushings ( hard washers ), and put the 3/4 gun back on her till the shot was flush witht he opening int he pulley face.. liek the last one was.
yeah.. not coming off any time soon i hope.. :)
old seal lip was COMPLETELY gone.. spring just had a lil rubber on it's edge, and the seal was fused into the cover good.. had to use a punch to dimple the edges down all arounf and then use my seal driver to pop it out.. after cleaning and application of some #2 non hardening permatex, the new seal more or less went in the way i think it should have.
slowly coming along.
cleaned and lubed the governor assy.. put the cover back on.. etc..
