Hitachi from a 1986 Nissan D21PU is internally regulated and wires the same as a Delco 10SI. L=#1 terminal S=#2 terminal. They are a easier fit, and mega reliable. I avoid the one wire systems as they are OK if the tractor is used weekly. They keep mthe alternator "on" all the time, and draw some current when the tractor is off. Bob M diagrams number 5 and 6 detail the reality and ease of a system that works. Jim
