Ive replace many of them and a cherry picker is handy for the final drives. The left side you will need to remove the brake drum as the diff shaft slides out the hole in the top of the final drive where the little plate is with the four bolts. Drives side the drum is at the far end and also needs to be removed to let the diff shaft go out thru the hole. Seals in the tranny are easy also just get the shims lined up so you can bolt the housing holding the seal back after replacing the seal.
