The picture you posted looks strange to me. The seal mounts on the inside of the inside brake disc (#1). Once you take the drum and fiber discs off the inside disc surface (#1) is exposed. This prys out of the bearing carrier (#6) and seals with an o-ring (#2), it also has the seal (#3) for the bull pinion shaft(#11). Once this is pryed out you can see the bearing (#5) that holds the bull pinion shaft and it and the shaft will just slide out as one piece. I have my 230 apart right now ( same brakes ) but I don't have any pictures to show you. I could post some later if you need more info. Craig
