That's not really dead on, but close. They heads are all interchangeable, but there are two different styles of injectors (possibly lines) so you need to have injectors matched to the head.
d282 will be able to tell you a little more about it. He bought a good head for his (now my) WD-9 and had it all bolted down and found out he needed different injectors for that head. Last I heard he has a good old style head for sale.
