I just put a oil seal in the top of the bolster on my H. Found out there was not one there. Jacked up the front end, blocked it up, removed tires, removed the wheel pedestal (heavy), and undid the top nut and dropped out the top part of the bolster shaft. Rigged up a puller of all-thread, washers, sockets to fit the OD of the oil seal, a socket with duct tape wrapped around to fit the ID of the oil seal, to center it inside the openings, and pulled 'er right up into place. A few heavy parts and pieces, but it seemed to work pretty straightforward. I whipped up a 50/50 blend of 90-wt. and wheel bearing grease, and used that for a grease. Not that I'm recommending it, but I tried it. I don't know, the stuff may separate, but I tried it.
