looks to me like you"ve exhausted most of the easy things to test and check. i think you might have to have another look at the mcv pump itself. you said in your earlier post it pumped oil when turned. all gear pumps will pump a little no matter what their condition, until you put them under pressure. your pump could have a blown seal or badly scored walls, which won"t let pressure build. only other things might be blocked pickup tube, dirty filter or missing filter tube o-ring. good luck, Brad
