With eight balls missing there weren't very many left. If you can account for all the retainers so you can get an acurate count you should be ok. But, if not, you better look at an identical bearing and actually count the balls. I used to have a chart I made for all the ball counts of those bearings as they really got tore up and you can't tell if you have them all. Remember, a bearing with an A or B on the end may well have more or less balls than one with same number but not that A or B.
